A Christmas Bauble

Wow, deffinately feeling the rush of the festivities right now! Will we be able to get away for Christmas or will the snow have us snowed in? Who knows.....

Ok, so here is a bauble I was inspired to make after noticing them on Kathy's blog. I thought it was such a great idea and just had to give it a go with some yummy Pink Petticoat papers.

What do you think? It's so simple to do too. For the video click here and enjoy!

Told you I was rushing right? So, back to the kids, getting drinks and tidying the lunch plates......oh the joys!

Have a good one :)

Tips Choose the Best Affiliate Marketing Products

Pakar Bisnis Online Tips Choose the Best Affiliate Marketing Products ; Affiliate marketing is a wonderful arena to enter if you want to make money online. You've probably heard by now that it's the easiest way to get started mainly because it takes little to no money to begin. But the statistics are astounding of just how many people fail miserably at this. That is why I wanted to share with you how to choose the best affiliate marketing products.

When starting any type of business online, it's really great if you can promote products that you know something about, either have a passion for that particular area or it's one of your hobbies. Let's face it, it will be much easier for you to write content if you know a little something about it already right! But it's not detrimental to your success. It might be that whatever you happen to really be interested in at the moment isn't a bit hit with people.

But market selection is the key ingredient to having any kind of success online. You have to choose products that people are willing and eager to give you their hard earned money. You can break that down into two different categories. There is the passion market and the solution market.

The passion market is what people spend money on in order to fulfill their lives. Things like PlayStation or Xbox which I think some adults love just as much as kids. Then you have sports enthusiasts that enjoy things like golf, tennis and skiing. They spend money on club memberships and vacations so they can enjoy these things while they are away. There are also people who are into things like model trains, airplanes, things like that. That is the passion market and it's huge.

You want to find "how to" products for this particular market. Things like "how to improve your golf swing" or "How to build a model airplane" or how to install the Xbox 360", things like that. You don't want to promote products that are too expensive so I would suggest staying under the $50 price mark.

The solution market is where people spend money in order to find a solution to a problem. They want to fix their problem in the quickest and easiest way possible. Some suggestions would be lose weight, cure acne, get out of debt or improve their credit rating. They want quick solutions to their problems and they want them now.

I hope this article helped with how to choose the best affiliate marketing products. By sharing the benefits that these products can provide for them, they will be more interested in learning what you have to offer. When choosing products to promote, remember these key ingredients and you can't go wrong.

Top affiliate marketing resources

Best Affiliate Marketing Resources ; Affiliate marketing is where a lot of people start who are new to the internet. There are numerous ways you can get started but there is one thing that everyone will need and that is resources. In this article I will share with you the top 6 affiliate marketing resources.

1. Keyword Tools:
Whether you start with or without a website, you still need to do keyword research in order to know which keywords to target that your particular market will be searching for. My three favorite free tools that I know you will find beneficial are Google AdWords Keyword Tool, Wordtracker and SEOBook.

2. Hosting Service:
Owning different websites is a must in this industry. On this list would be your WordPress blogs, which you will find is needed with each different niche that you pursue. Having a reliable yet inexpensive hosting service is a must. My personal favorite is Bluehost yet a lot of people seem to like Hostgator. A few other services that I have heard are really good are Monster Host, Just Host, iPage and Green Geeks.

3. Domain Names:
These are a necessity in this industry whether you have your own site or need to redirect your affiliate products to its own name. GoDaddy is still my favorite although a lot of people seem to be drawn to Name Cheap now. Both of these are low cost domain providers.

4. Affiliate Programs
These programs help you locate the products to promote for your niche. There are literally hundreds to choose from but some of the top programs are ClickBank, Commission Junction, Pay Dot Com and Offer Vault.

5. Email Autoresponders
It's imperative that you grow your lists and in order to stay in touch with them you will need an autoresponder series. The most popular ones are Aweber, Get Response and iContact.

6. Creating PDF's:
Providing free reports for your list will only benefit your affiliate marketing business. Embedding your affiliate links in these reports will help with future commissions. Having your list share your free report will help it to go viral and potentially send you hundreds if not thousands of new prospects. There are a lot of different resources you can use to help with this process. A few that I am familiar with are Open Office, Free PDF Convert, PDF 995 and PDF Creator.

Musical Monday: Frank Sings Jimmy Lunceford

And now, Jim Woodring presents his acclaimed character Frank, accompanied by Jimmy Lunceford's "T'Ain't What You Do." (Not to be confused with the later Fun Boy Three/Bananarama cover "It Ain't What You Do.")

Quick Thought: Batman's Bright Segment

I picked up the past couple of weeks' worth of books this weekend, and something occurred to me while reading the Batman 80-Page Giant, specifically the Two-Face/Humpty Dumpty story.

I would not be at all surprised if either Dan Slott (who introduced Humpty in the Arkham Asylum: Living Hell mini-series) or Brad Desnoyer (writer of this tale) were a big fan of Theodore Sturgeon. Why? Because reading this story, I was suddenly struck by the similarity of Humpty to the protagonist of Sturgeon's short story "Bright Segment."

If you haven't read Sturgeon's story (which you should), it concerns a mentally-challenged handyman who finds a badly injured woman in the street. Trying to help, he carries her into his apartment. Although he immediately realizes he should have taken her to a hospital, he's afraid that he'll get in trouble because he didn't think of that first. So he decides that the only thing left to do is to "fix" her himself, using his own skills and whatever information he can glean from the first-aid and medical books he finds. (I won't spoil the story by saying anything more.)

While the similarity is striking, it could be just a coincidence. Still, I'll take any excuse to recommend Theodore Sturgeon to anybody.
